Wellington Residence
These photographs illustrate the refurbishment and renovation of Andrews two storied villa in central Wellington.
An extension was built to accommodate the new kitchen, the stairs were relocated and two new bathrooms added. Landscaping of the front garden formalised what was previously a cottage garden. The completed house used re-cycled matai floorboards, new carpet, curtains and furniture and paint colours complement each other to great effect.
The finished house, along with the landscaping, shows clean and contemporary detailing that sit well within the context of an early 1900's villa.
