Kitchen Central Wellington
The owners of a large penthouse apartment required a new kitchen that accommodated the needs of a keen cook with plenty of storage.
The final design was a hybrid of 'country' meets 'contemporary' as seen in the use of timber benchtop versus stainless steel, terracotta floor tiles versus clean detailing of the joinery, an extract fan is hidden behind a bespoke piece of metalwork. The joinery was dark stained Ash used to illustrate the strong graining that runs through it. Storage was increased with discreet hardware that made use of all available space as the photographs illustrate.
The net result was a happy cook and plenty of dinner parties.
